Lego Club
Every Monday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Everything is awesome at our Lego clubs! Join us at the library for LEGO play.

Crafty Tuesday
Every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Join us on Tuesdays for Crafty Tuesday! You can drop in at any time to enjoy making a craft. Best for ages 3–8.

Storytime
Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Enjoy an interactive story time 
Every Monday with your child that includes early literacy fun with books and songs. Best for ages 0–7.

Movie Time
Every Thursday at 10 a.m.
Come enjoy a movie on the library’s big screen. Check the children’s calendar for the movie selection each week. Best for ages 4–11.

Sensory Storytime 
Every last Friday at 3:30 p.m.
Join us in the children’s department for an interactive sensory storytime! All ages are welcome.

Lego Club

Stop by the Children’s Department of the Augusta Library for a virtual field trip to visit notable places around the world. In honor of Independence Day, we are going to explore the home of the first U.S. president, George Washington.

Utilizing original stories, vibrant music, props, repetition, and puppets, learning Spanish is made fun, easy, and interesting. Join authors Roger Bellow and Berita Martin for an interactive event that can be enjoyed by all, no matter what language you speak.

Stop by the Children’s Department of the Augusta Library for a virtual field trip to visit notable places around the world. Today, we leave America behind to explore one of Thailand’s oldest cities: Chiang Mai.

Join the Augusta Library’s Children’s Department as Anne Sprinkler and her therapy dogs show off some awesome tricks and teach attendees how to properly care for their furry friends.

Summer of Sleuthing-Saving Our Stories Challenge Kit     
Young Adults area/Teen Space.  SOS! Your story and your ancestors’ stories matter.  This summer, become a detective by participating in weekly challenges to preserve your family history.   Best for ages 12-18.

Donuts and Art: A Perfect Pair    
Young Adults area/Teen Space.  Color a donut coloring sheet and add it to our community wall quilt.  Best for ages 12-18.

Teen Take & Make Kit: “I Will Help” Stuffie (Theme: Kindness)    
Young Adults area/Teen Space.  While supplies last, pick up a sewing kit to help you create a stuffie that promotes kindness.   Best for ages 12-18.

Cooking Club: Chopped at Home   
Young Adults area/Teen Space.  Do you enjoy cooking or want to learn how to cook?  If so, pick up a mystery bag of ingredients (while supplies last) to create a dish.  For a chance to win prizes, submit a photo and the recipe of your creation.  Best for ages 12-18.

Teen Thursday: Self-Care Bath Bombs and Sugar Scrub

Join us virtually for your next, great writing adventure! In April, work on any type of creative project whether it is a novel, poem, short story, etc.  While supplies last, pick up a kit with a notebook, writing utensils, and other goodies.  Call (706) 434-2036 to reserve your kit. July 8-14
Recycled Beaded Bracelets Kits 
Pick up a kit from Umoja Partnership to make a bracelet made of beads created from recycled paper.  Once you have created your bracelet, send a photo to our YA Librarian at curtisjatarcpls.org to obtain a certificate for 1 hour of community service.  Reserve your kit by calling (706) 434-2036.  Best for ages 12-18.

Field Guide to Your Life Kits

Acrylic Paint Pour Flower Pots
