Join us in the Georgia Room for a book talk and signing with North Carolina author Edward Di Gangi who will discuss his memoir, The Best Gift Given and his newest book, Gliding Though Goodbye. The books are about his experiences searching for his birth mother after learning of his adoption. His birth mother, Genevieve Norris was an accomplished ice skater who performed in the glamorous ice shows popular in the 1940s. Her skating troupe, the Ice Vogues, were a popular draw at the Bell Auditorium in Augusta during the 40s, 50s, and 60s.
