Between the Shelves debuts July 30th with electric violinist JaVonne Jones. Augusta-born and classically trained, JaVonne has opened for gospel and entertainment giants including Rickey Smiley, Tamela Mann, and Dottie Peoples. In the spirit of NPR's Tiny Desk concerts, this intimate evening brings live music right into the stacks at our Augusta Headquarters Library, close enough to feel every note. No barriers, just music between the shelves. Seating is limited to 40 guests. Registration required.

Penelope is bringing her Dinosaur Story Store to the library, filled with ancient mysteries and tales she's dug up from the earth, (and her own imagination). Whether they are found in books or found in the dirt, these stories are ready to be unearthed!
