Library Board of Trustees

The Augusta-Richmond County Public Library Board of Trustees consists of 13 members, representing the Richmond County Districts, the County Commission, and the Richmond County Legislators. The Members are:

Ms. Cher Best. Ms. Best is a legislative representative to the board. Term expiration: March 31, 2027

Ms. Anita Rookard. Ms. Rookard is a legislative representative to the board. Term expiration: March 31, 2026

Mr. Morris T. Porter. Mr. Porter represents District 1. Mr. Porter is the board president. Term expiration: March 31, 2026

Ms. Brenda Garman. Ms. Garman represents District 3. Ms. Garman is the board vice-president. Term expiration: March 31, 2025

Ms. Kimberly Brown. Ms. Brown represents District 5. Term expiration: March 31, 2025

Ms. Carletta McGruder. Ms. McGruder represents District 6. Term expiration: March 31, 2026

Mr. Kigwana Cherry. Mr. Cherry represents District 7. Term expiration: March 31, 2025

Ms. Anna Reeves. Ms. Reeves represents District 8. Term expiration: March 31, 2025

Ms. Tonia Gibbons. Ms. Gibbons represents District 9. Term expiration: March 31, 2027

Ms. Christine Rhodes. Ms. Rhodes represents District 10. Term expiration: March 31, 2027

Mr. Bobby Williams. Mr. Williams is the County Commission’s representative to the Library Board, and serves in an Ex Officio capacity on the board.

Mr. Leon Maben. Mr. Maben is the President of the Friends of the Library, and serves in an Ex Officio capacity on the Board.
