Documenting America’s Struggle for Racial Equality

The Digital Library of Georgia announced the relaunch of the Civil Rights Digital Library. This project brings together more than 200 libraries, archives, and museums to provide free online access to historical materials documenting the Civil Rights Movement in the United States. These collaborative partnerships are the bedrock of this national project.

Included in these 200 partners are many public libraries from around the nation, including materials from the Augusta-Richmond County Public Library. This is a great resource for engaging with primary source materials documenting the Civil Rights Movement that can help students and scholars alike.
